The Altamont Court Hotel in New Kingston offers an outdoor pool, modern gym, and pool bar amidst a tropical Jamaican setting. The Bob Marley Museum is a 5-minute drive away. Rooms feature free Wi-Fi, cable TV, balconies, and colonial-style décor. A fitness centre and elevator provide convenience. The Mango Tree Restaurant serves local and international cuisine by the pool, within walking distance to Emancipation Park and Knutsford Boulevard.

Customer service was great! Breakfast was excellent. The room was clean and comfortable.

Altamont Court Hotel’s location was excellent and convenient for exploring the attractions. The breakfast selection was healthy and offered a good variety of options. However, the service was disappointing; the staff were extremely slow, which ruined the overall breakfast experience. With faster service, the stay would have been much more enjoyable. I felt the property was a little dated for the price paid. It does offer a cottage‑like experience that might appeal to guests who enjoy a more rustic, traditional setting. With some modern updates and improvements, the overall experience could better reflect the cost of the stay.

The staff were genuinely professional and the food tasted natural, but I was disappointed to find two beds in my room and felt the price was too high for an old hotel like that.
