“A delightful home away from home”
Dolce Noemi sits right in the center, close to the castle, the lovely lungomare, the Bergamot Museum, and plenty of local shops. The room had thoughtful extras like tissues in the bathroom, a sofa bed, a chair, and a desk. Enza, our hostess, was warm and welcoming, offered great dining tips, and brought fresh croissants every morning. She was easy to work with and so kind that we felt like we were saying goodbye to family when we left.
“The owner was lovely & very helpful. She even drove me to the train station the next day.”
Great coffee and croissant. The stairs to the first floor were a bit of a hassle, but I had an extremely heavy suitcase. If I had a smaller one, it wouldn’t have been a problem.
The welcome, Enza’s friendliness, the room, the location, the city… everything was wonderful! Everything was perfect 👌
“Excellent apartment for a stay in central Reggio di Calabria”
This accommodation is in an excellent spot, just one block away (a three‑minute walk) from the Castello di Reggio Calabria, and the Duomo is another 2‑3 minutes away. Even though it’s central, the street is quite quiet at night. Fantastic! The room is spacious and well‑equipped. Most importantly, the lady who owns the place is kind‑hearted and helpful in every way. She went above and beyond what an average host would do to make my stay pleasant and efficient and deserves an 11 out of 10! Nothing else comes to mind. The only downside is that the apartment is on the first floor with no elevator, so guests with disabilities should be aware.
We happened to arrive at Mrs. Enza’s house after our flight to Catania was cancelled because of the Etna eruption, and we were re‑booked on a flight to Reggio Calabria after spending a day at the airport. Mrs. Enza welcomed us and our children like her own kids and grandkids! She picked us up at the airport at one in the morning and made us feel right at home with a rare kindness. The B&B is cozy, well‑kept, and exudes a warm old‑world charm. Its strategic location a short walk from the Castello Aragonese is a real bonus. Not to mention the breakfast with homemade peach juice from Mrs. Enza! We’ll definitely come back, both to see her again and to explore more of Reggio.
