There were two showers, four toilets, a good kitchen, and six bedrooms—perfect for a group. However, there was no dining room or table for meals; a dining area in the kitchen‑to‑garden bedroom would have been better. The boiler was broken on arrival, but an electrician in our group fixed it. The loft sitting room had a low ceiling that made you worry about bumping your head. Repairs and ongoing maintenance were needed, and the place smelled when we arrived—probably unused for a while—so I kept my window open the entire five‑day stay, and it only cleared up near the end.
Everything we needed was there, and the owner was very attentive, making our stay even better. The attic had been converted into a lounge for people with disabilities, which we never used.
