Hotel Boka

I arrived to discover that only half the rooms had electricity; my room was one of the few that did, even though from outside it looked like all rooms were lit. I was offered a taxi to a pricier hotel, but I walked because it was faster. A week later, after a mountain trip, the same issue happened again. I refused the other hotel, but the front desk staff left me to find accommodation myself. The receptionist seemed embarrassed, the manager didn’t care and was busy chatting with the girls at the restaurant table. It feels like they keep booking guests and then hand them off to another hotel they own. I won’t stay here again and would warn others.

The hotel is well‑situated near the market, and the nearby outdoor spots are great for drinks or meals.

The room was very pretty and the beds were comfortable. The hotel was quiet and very cozy for a peaceful night’s sleep. The breakfast could have been better—there was no sweetener available.

The central location and spacious rooms were a plus, and the breakfast was good. However, when I arrived I learned a power outage meant my room wasn’t ready, so I had to be moved to a different hotel for the first night.

“Comfortable”

The place was clean and comfortable and in a great spot. The first night, though, I didn’t get the room I had booked; it was smaller and had no balcony.
