“A Hotel Where Foreigners Are Not Allowed”
The room was roomy, but the hotel’s listed name didn’t match the actual name, which was misleading. The building is old and doesn’t resemble the online photos. Check‑in was a nightmare because my newlywed wife lacks an Aadhaar card; we gave her passport, but staff said foreigners weren’t allowed and worried about her address not being in the passport. We then showed our marriage certificate with both local and international addresses, yet the problem persisted until we convinced them. Finally we managed to check in. There are no restaurants or nearby food options, adding to the inconvenience.
