A ground‑floor patio extends from the suite, and the entire unit is wheelchair accessible. The sleeping area accommodates two guests with a separate bedroom and a wardrobe, while a private bathroom offers a shower, bathtub, toilet, towels, hairdryer and free toiletries. Climate control includes air conditioning, heating and a fan, and the kitchenette provides a stovetop, microwave, refrigerator, iron, ironing facilities and a clothes rack. Entertainment and connectivity feature a flat‑screen TV with satellite channels and streaming service, free Wi‑Fi, a desk, sofa and seating area.

The space itself was lovely—clean, comfortable, and well‑located. I first wanted to stay 30 to 40 days because the place had real potential. I was quoted R8,000 for a long‑term stay, plus R500 for WiFi. The cleaner showed me the rooms and confirmed the price. I agreed to the R8,000 for the room I chose. However, the very next day, I was told that the price had changed and that I was misinformed. The staff became rude and unprofessional. I was treated as if I was trying to take advantage—even though I had been clear from the start. I also mentioned that I would bring Chinese business partners and friends to stay here in the future. Instead of appreciating that, they seemed to want to take advantage of me because I am based in China. I ended up not extending my stay. I felt I could not trust them. A beautiful place with dishonest management. I would not recommend unless they change their approach to guests. What I did not like was the dishonesty and the lack of integrity. I was quoted R8,000 for a long‑term stay, plus R500 for WiFi—in writing via WhatsApp. I agreed to that price based on the manager’s confirmation. The very next day, the price changed. I was told the previous quote was a mistake, and I was treated as if I was trying to take advantage—even though I had proof of what was said. I suspect the price changed because they heard I live in China. They may have assumed I have more money and tried to charge me more. This is not just unprofessional—it is dishonest. I was going to recommend this place to my Chinese business partners who are relocating to South Africa. One of them is wealthy and would have stayed for a year. That business has now been lost because of their greed and lack of integrity. I cannot bring partners to a place that changes prices based on the face of the guest. It is a beautiful space, but I cannot trust the management.
The spot’s handy and the whole place looks tidy, but the room was freezing, breakfast fell flat, and they never warned us about the delay. There’s no coffee in the room, the bathroom taps drip, and the doors don’t shut right.

Location is good just off Rivonia Road Staff were very accommodating when issues raised. First off - the name of the Accomodation has changed to Rivonia Garden suites , but not the signage on the road. So you don’t know you’ve arrived at your destination as it called something else. We required 2 separate rooms for 4 of us. 2 people booked into each room - but towels only supplied for 1 person. Broken side lamps with no bulbs, no mirror in the room. Curtains in one room stank of old cigarette smoke, don’t think they have ever been cleaned. The bed in this room was rock hard, it was like sleeping on a wooden plank. The large room (suite) advert states: “boasts a fully equipped kitchenette”however, the kitchenette didn’t have any coffee mugs, glasses, crockery or cutlery. The shower in this room also didn’t work. The sleeper couch in the lounge area is so warn out, you cannot actually sit on it anymore and use it as a couch. As mentioned the staff were great when we raised the issues, but I feel these issues should have been addressed already if someone was actually managing the property effectively
