The breakfast was solid, and Bill and Sheila formed a great team that catered to our preferences. The spot was fantastic, with a balcony view overlooking the lake that looked stunning. I had expected a larger inn and retreat, but it turned out to be more of a bed‑and‑breakfast, which isn’t really our style. The bed we slept in was an open‑up day bed with rails only halfway down each side, making it hard to get in and out. The mattress was fine, so I slept well. The bathroom could use a refresh—there’s no counter space for toiletries. Overall, everything was nice and clean.
