“Basic room but clean”

It was very cheap and clean, but it lacked many basic amenities; still, at the price I paid I was satisfied.

The fan in one room didn't keep it cool; having AC in every room would be better.

The staff were very excellent, but the bed was uncomfortable and the bathrooms were very small.

Nicely decorated. Clean bedding. Towels provided. Good Wi-Fi connection. We really like the location although a walk away from pier but it felt a bit quieter than the hustle and bustle. Also we got collected from the pier with someone to help carry our bags. We had a 2 night stay and the first night we opted for the room with just the fan (completely our own fault) but it was very hot. The staff were very helpful and we paid to move to a room with A/C which was very good. However, the room with A/C had hundreds of ants on the floor and they got into the bedding, and we woke up with quite a few ant bites on our body. The ants also got all over our food bag which was wrapped up with 5 bags tied shut and hung up high. We only had bread and oats in there but had to throw the entire contents. The ants were already in the room when we got in so it wasn’t like the food attracted them

Back for the second year – the accommodation is basic but offers great value, the rooms are spacious, the location is excellent, and the balcony/terrace is great for relaxing – overall a solid choice for Phi Phi.
