Flat-screen TVs with over 50 cable channels are available, along with spa baths in some rooms and air-conditioning in most. The motel is a 2-minute walk to Canterbury University and near local amenities, including Riccarton and Addington Racecourses.

The host was amazing, even calling to confirm someone would be present after my late flight. The room was clean and modern. I stayed twice over a weekend and was moved to a quieter room on request. The fridge had real milk and tasty biscuits. Beds were comfy with high‑quality bedding and towels. A short walk takes you to Bush Inn, which offers many dinner choices.

I didn't have breakfast, and the hotel sits on a busy road. The room was not serviced during our stay.
