The AC sits in a perfect spot, no drafts hit your head, and the linens are spotless. The room stays quiet, and no one rushes to clean early in the morning. The express elevator gets you to your floor in seconds. On the downside, the windows and shower glass are filthy—so bad that I had to buy a cleaning cloth with liquid and wipe them myself. Expecting the staff to clean them is futile. The bathroom has a lot of gnats, and I saw a couple of cockroaches twice. Water leaks from the shower, leaving a puddle that doesn’t drain into the trap.

The guard is extremely attentive and always dressed plainly, yet he’s surprisingly considerate. The suite I stayed in was worth every penny; it was clean, though the furnishings were a bit old, yet that matched the price and the housekeeping was excellent. I’m picky, but this place works well for a short overnight stay, and the price is cheap. Plus, there’s Netflix, which is a huge bonus.
