Breakfast was ready to go, but it was scorching hot in the room because the bed was on the upper floor, under the roof—way too warm. The lower level, where the sauna is, stayed cool, so that would have been better. A fan was there, yet the room stayed extremely hot.

The accommodation was very pleasant, all comfortable and quiet with a lovely garden. We didn't meet in person, but the interaction was smooth and responsive, with exceptional handling of our requests. Personalized attention was much appreciated, such as the gluten‑free bread and cereals for the one of us with intolerance. Everything was just fine.

The apartment was spotless, with a lovely outdoor area for breakfast and dinner (we ordered burgers from Laon that were delivered). Breakfast was ready upon check‑in—fresh bread, cereals, jam, butter, and fruit juice. A coffee machine with pods and tea bags was available. The room had a very comfortable bed, and it was very quiet at night, so we could leave the bedroom window open. The downstairs shower was great with good water pressure and plenty of space. A fan was on in the room when we arrived—nice during the heatwave in France. We had trouble ordering dinner, but Anne Sophie helped place the order—thanks! The only drawback was the downstairs bathroom and toilet, and the upstairs room had only one basin for brushing teeth and washing dishes. They do wash the breakfast dishes. Wi‑Fi was excellent outside, but very spotty inside.
