“非常不滿意”

I had to drive up a single winding mountain road to get there, and the staff never mentioned that the road was being repaired or that it was closed, nor did they put up any temporary signs. I had to call ahead to find out how to get there, and two days before arrival they told me I’d have to pay cash but didn’t warn me about the road issue. For the first time in years of traveling around Taiwan I couldn’t swipe a card, and breakfast was very basic. The pictures online were completely different from what I saw, and there was nothing to explore. In short, I spent a lot of time driving up the mountain to sleep and then driving back down, and the value for money was very low.

The room was clean and tidy, with plenty of space. The restaurant, however, could use improvement – there were over a dozen flies buzzing around the breakfast area, which was really shocking.

This mountain inn offers great value, even better than I expected, and I could see the distant city from the mountain. The room is spacious and has a bathtub, and the surroundings are quiet enough to hear insects, birds, and frogs; it’s truly a place to escape the city. The reception area was hard to locate because the signs were unclear, so I had to wander a bit to find it.
