“Comfortable and easy stay”

It was a quiet neighbourhood, the bed was comfortable, and the bathroom and showers were good. The only issue was that the fire alarm went off around 2:30am and it took a while to be sorted out. The virtual customer service is great and helpful. Fire alarm went off early morning, no lift to the bedrooms, and travellers have heavy suitcases.

The room was clean and furnished with modern components; the bathroom was spacious and comfortable, with a separate sink. The glass door to the bathroom, lacking a closure, offered no privacy, especially when staying with friends. The price-to-service ratio does not match any other accommodation worldwide.

“really basic, not much else to say.”

The room was tidy and everything we expected was present, and the bed was made nicely. However, there was no comfortable seating in the room and the lack of a common area made it difficult to work or eat. We couldn’t plug anything in and the light on one side of the bed was unusable. In the middle of the night the fire alarm sounded, forcing us outside. A securitas guard came and quickly told us in Icelandic that it was safe to return, leaving many tourists confused until we clarified it ourselves; the hotel never followed up about what happened. In the bathroom we discovered that the shampoo and conditioner were mixed in the same container, which was inconvenient to discover during a late‑night shower.
