After the Nagano fireworks show, I arrived late but the staff handled it nicely. The inn is old, yet every room, toilet, and bath had been renovated and looked tidy. The cafeteria’s fridge was divided by room, which made it easy to find what I needed. The futon was fluffy and comfortable. I walked a little from the station, but the city’s free parking lot was right behind the inn, and the Yuzawa Kogen Ropeway was in front, so getting around was convenient. Without meals it felt a bit pricey, but on the fireworks day it might be considered cheap.
