It didn’t look like the pictures; the maintenance was sorely lacking. The bathroom door locks were broken and wouldn’t close from inside. Monkeys were leaping on the roof, making the upper floor stay unbearable because the noise sounded like the ceiling might collapse. Overall, the place was poorly maintained, the staff were friendly, but I left for another accommodation.

The location was fine. We booked four rooms out of five in a full villa and were told we could use the kitchen for free, but at checkout they added a kitchen fee. One room’s AC didn’t work at all, and the toilet sheet was filthy with mold.

We enjoyed a lovely stay at River Edge Hotel Yala. The double room was spacious, impeccably clean, and the beds were very comfortable. The view from the room was breathtaking—river views made the place feel tranquil and relaxing. The garden was natural and beautiful. The hotel’s proximity to town was convenient. Wi‑Fi worked well, the food was excellent, and the staff were always friendly, checking on our comfort. The owner was especially helpful and even guided us to the hotel, which we appreciated. Madushika was also kind and helpful. All in all, it was a comfortable and enjoyable stay, perfect even for a longer visit. Definitely worth the money and highly recommended. Nothing was off‑kilter—everything was just too perfect 🤩👌

This hotel is a hidden gem, surrounded by lush greenery and offering a serene atmosphere that's perfect for relaxation. We had a fantastic time here, with the staff going above and beyond to make our stay special. The peacocks roaming around the property added a touch of magic to our mornings, and the staff arranged an unforgettable Yala safari for us.
