The building is wonderful and the staff is competent, with nothing that went wrong.

The hotel is charming, especially decorated for the holidays, the restaurant serves excellent food with a spectacular view that let us enjoy the fireworks from a privileged spot, and the staff are always friendly and helpful—no negative points.

There was no heating for 3000 euros, and the restaurant staff were not professional.

The historic Venice hotel has all rooms in Venetian style, great location, friendly and welcoming staff, but the bar on the mezzanine (the piano bar at night) could improve; we ordered a few items and received different ones without being told the original ones were unavailable.
