“Heerlijk en handig verblijf.”

After a long journey, what you want is a good shower, a good bed, silence, a place to relax outside, and a spot to prep food—all of those were there. I also enjoyed having friendly Scottish neighbors on the other side of the kitchen. I couldn’t find the location even though there was a sign; the address you get is a stone house, and only after that is a little path with a sign (which I didn’t see) that leads to the wooden cottage.

“Perfect for a short stop over going north - south or probably even a few days to explore more.”

The location is great, just 5 minutes from the main roads, no hassle at all. The facilities are really good, the external shutters are nice, and it’s quiet. The bed could be a bit more comfortable, it was a bit too warm, the TV signal wasn’t good enough for Netflix, and the shower overflowed a little.

“Overall we enjoyed our stay.”

The property was very clean and well equipped. Because there was an extra fee for dogs, I expected the garden to be secured with a gate, and I also thought the camera in the shared kitchen was unnecessary.

The location, the hostess’s friendliness, the great breakfast, the comfort, and the cleanliness were all excellent. It was very hot—heatwave—and we had to keep the fan running 24 hours because there was no air conditioning or cooler. The entrance has a terrace with a step up that limits accessibility for people with disabilities.
