The service was excellent, the room was very comfortable and picturesque, but the area and land access could be better.

The manager texted me that if I gave a 5‑star rating he would give me free breakfasts; this feels very serious because the property was in a popular residential area with many stray dogs, making it dangerous at night and the passageways to the entrance were unlit. Additionally, I had to request housekeeping because there was no set cleaning schedule, and I found several large spiders, one especially big, with no one around to help me, so I realized I was completely alone in the building.

The owner and staff were incredibly accommodating, and the property and gardens were beautiful.

Antonia was incredibly friendly, helpful and always ready to answer our questions, and the private dock that overlooks Lake Atitlan was a real plus; we also enjoyed a superb breakfast, and the hotel sits in one of the least tourist‑filled villages nearby, though the dogs next door sometimes barked for a long stretch during the night.
