Nothing. ***FRAUD AND DECEPTIVE PRACTICES: BAIT-AND -SWITCH*** I have filed a formal consumer fraud complaint against (Broker/Platform) and White Marlin Inn in Virginia Beach, VA (Merchant) for deceptive advertising, material misrepresentation, and unfair business practices. I have also reported this establishment to the Virginia Beach Department of Public Health, the BBB, and am leaving this review. The companies mentioned engaged in a "bait and switch" scheme. markets the White Marlin Inn as standard, safe, and clean lodging with images of white walls and standard rooms. However, the actual accommodations provided were illegal, un-inhabitable, and violated state sanitation and building codes. Upon entering the rooms provided (#113 and the room immediately above it on the second level) we discovered: 1. Severe biological hazard: the bedding eas heavily contaminated with visible un-laundered bodily fluid (semen). 2. Health Hazards: Extensive active mold growth was spreading across the walls, lamps, floorboards, and bathroom. 3. Critical Security Breach: The entry door was physically split and broken from a previous forced-entry and the mandatory second lock hook was entirely missing. The room could not be physically locked or secured form inside or outside. Due to these immediate threats to our physical safety and health- the rooms were entirely unusable. We immediately evacuated the premises to mitigate damages and secure alternative safe lodging at another establishment. and the White Marlin Inn have engaged in unfair and deceptive business practices by profit-sharing with a facility violating state codes and their customer support agents and OWNER have actively obstructed the refund process including hanging up on me when I attempted to report these biohazard issues. The merchant is withholding funds for services that were never legally or safely rendered

The staff were genuinely helpful and did what they could, and the location was convenient. However, the bathtub clogged right after the first use and never cleared, which happened in the morning before we left. Roaches were everywhere, the bed sheets had stains, and there was mold on the pillowcase.
