The place was fantastic – I met some really nice people and the staff were super helpful. The atmosphere was pleasant and there was a kitchen you could use. It’s only a two‑minute walk to the museums and the train station, couldn’t ask for more. Thanks a lot!

I liked how close the hostel is to Lausanne’s train station and the fact that it’s women‑only gave me a sense of calm and safety. The free public‑transport pass was a nice touch, though getting it electronically before arrival would have been even better. On the downside, the pillows were huge and uncomfortable; a more ergonomic option would be great. I’d also appreciate a small kettle and a coffee sachet in the room.

The spot can’t be beat – right in the middle of everything, staff were friendly, and the rooms were spotless. It was also surprisingly quiet for such a central location. Would definitely stay again.

The welcome was warm and the house itself is lovely, with a big communal kitchen, decorative plaster on the ceiling, a comfy bed, fireplace, tall windows, and even a bathrobe and earplugs as a fun touch. Unfortunately, the neighbours were pretty loud and the doors kept slamming, which made it hard to relax at times.

Mme Ilsa Moret was welcoming and gave solid advice, and the hostel is just a short walk from the station. My room (no 20) was quiet and well‑situated, and the shower and toilet on the floor were clean. The only drawback was the train noise, but a pair of earplugs kept it manageable.
