The owner was friendly and gave us several restaurant and leisure tips, plus a tasty breakfast with homemade bread, granola, and specialty coffee from the Caparaó region. I suggest the lodge put a sign with its name.

The chalet sits right by the Pedra Menina village and the park gate next to the ES, which made getting around a breeze. It was brand‑new, spacious and the bed was surprisingly comfy, with all the basics we needed. The hosts greeted us warmly and were quick to help with anything we asked for, and the breakfast they served was downright tasty. We’re already thinking about coming back.

I was impressed by the size of the room—it felt roomy enough to move around—and the bed was really comfortable. The breakfast spread was solid, giving a good start to the day. All in all, a pleasant stay that hit the basics right.
