The Wangburapa Grand Hotel, located near Chiang Mai's old city gates, offers air-conditioned rooms with dark wooden furnishings and golden touches. Guests enjoy an outdoor pool, massage services, and free Wi-Fi. The hotel is 200 metres from the Sunday Walking Street and 8 km from Chiang Mai International Airport, with a Chinese restaurant, coffee shop, and spa pool on site.

The pool was beautiful.

The hotel is well‑located, right between the Saturday night market and the Sunday market, and directly across from a bridge that leads out of the old town; the family rooms were huge. It’s an old hotel, the tap water doesn’t work well, some toilets make noise when you flush, and some air‑conditioners don’t work properly. One morning the buffet was half empty, so we had to order eggs separately. We could see that some staff members didn’t want to be there, so we didn’t feel very welcomed or appreciated.
