“Charming, clean, quiet and excellent value accomodation close to the hubbub of Shinjuku”

A family-friendly spot that's close enough to Shinjuku yet feels like a small haven of quiet. The bunk‑bed rooms were very comfortable and thoughtfully designed, and the room was spacious enough to set up cushions around the low table for a light breakfast or snacks when jet lag kept us from going out. No complaints at all. It was a great value and kept clean.

The service was outstanding—when I messaged two hours before check‑in to store my luggage, they replied instantly, told me the room was already cleaned and let me check in early, which was a lifesaver on a hot day for the kids to rest. The rooms and corridors sparkled, but there was mold behind the door of the unit bathroom when viewed from inside, which was disappointing.

I was blown away by how wonderful this place was, especially the owner, who was incredibly kind throughout our email exchanges and even took great care of the children. He accommodated a sudden schedule change, warmed the room before we arrived, and the room itself was spotless; the bunk beds thrilled the kids, and the welcome sweets were a lovely touch that we enjoyed. The aquarium was packed with fish, and the kids were obsessed with watching them. Our family left thrilled, saying we’d love to stay again. One minor note for Japanese guests: there are no slippers in the bathroom, so bringing cheap ones from a 100‑yen shop is advisable.

The location is good. The beds are a bit hard, and most of the seating is on the floor.
