“Un hotel que sorprende”

I want to highlight the breakfast buffet at Hotel Insólito, which is truly first‑class. It offers a base menu of 11 dishes, and you can also request items not listed. Everything was excellent: great coffee, fresh juices, pastries, coconut cake, brownies, and high‑quality fresh products. The hotel’s facilities deserve special mention, especially the outdoor heated pool at about 40 °C and the hot tub with an amazing sea view – perfect for relaxing and enjoying the surroundings. The food, drinks, and service matched the experience. I especially thank Santihno and José for their friendliness and attention, making each morning a unique experience. The beds and sheets were very good. Finally, I commend the entire staff for their kindness and readiness; they were always attentive to our questions and needs, making our stay even more pleasant. In our family room No. 12, which has two bedrooms, we encountered an issue worth noting. In the children’s section, the air conditioner was loose, producing a loud noise that reverberated throughout the area, making it impossible to keep it on at night. We appreciated the staff’s attempts to fix it, but it ultimately failed. We recommend the hotel replace it with a newer unit. Also, considering the hotel’s category, it would be advisable to have double‑glazed windows in the rooms. While the current windows close properly, their age (apparently several decades old) allows outside noise to be heard. Though the area is generally quiet, every time a car or motorcycle passes, the noise is clearly audible inside the room (note that I have light sleep). Improving these details would significantly enhance the quality and comfort of the experience.

“Comfortable but won’t come back”

The room was decent for a family, but the gym claim was misleading—spa facilities are separate. The front‑desk staff member tried to upsell me an extra charge at check‑in, and when I pointed it out at checkout, he cowardly claimed it was optional and I chose not to pay.
