The location was good, but the reception, pool, and beach weren’t very clean, and the beach bugs caused huge itching.

Nothing was good here. Everything was bad: mold everywhere, a cigarette stink, a dangerous flooded bathroom, and the food was barely edible.

“Preciosa Playa y Buen Hotel”

Everything was fine; the facilities were well kept and clean. The front‑desk staff were very courteous. It’s close to town, great for a motorcycle ride, and the hotel beach is wonderful, one of the prettiest on the island. The breakfast, however, isn’t set up for Western guests. They have a huge buffet, but it’s all for the local breakfast; the juices are just powdered water, and there’s no croissant or similar sweet pastry. They should open up a bit and add more Western options instead of soups, noodles, or similar for people just waking up.

“Just don’t stay here, you’ll regret it.”

I had no good moments at all. The resort felt like a total rip‑off; sandflies bit us relentlessly, yet the staff only warned us after we were covered in dozens of bites. Breakfast was terrible, the property looked ancient and out‑of‑date, and the price was outrageous. The sun beds seemed like relics from the previous century, with a rusty nail protruding, and everywhere I looked something was broken, damaged, or just old—an absolute letdown.
