“Absolutely the worst accommodation experience.”
I had the absolute worst accommodation experience. I cheerfully said “Hi” to the elderly female receptionist, but she replied impatiently with a single word: “Name!” She then tossed me a key, pointed vaguely toward the room, and walked away without another word. In the middle of the night, the power suddenly went out, leaving the room completely dark and freezing cold. We couldn’t use the lights, bathroom, or air conditioning. When the power finally returned, the completely empty fridge started making an incredibly loud noise, making it very difficult to sleep. I will never stay here again. If zero stars were an option, I would give zero. Get some properly trained and educated staff first before talking about improving anything.
The motel room was small, but clean and tidy. The public area was well equipped, and it was a fairly good choice in the area, making it convenient to go to Tyrell.
The bed was comfortable and the shower had good water pressure. A microwave and kettle were available in the room for easy self‑catering. However, the jukebox did not shut off overnight and played a loud song every 45 minutes all night.
Very impressed with everything about the accommodation. Front desk person was rude we had driven a long way and we obviously annoyed her because we were 10 mins late checking in . Then tried to approach her at 9.30 in the morning and that obviously annoyed her as well
