Nothing good. The blankets stink of urine and the disgusting smell, the trash everywhere—I threw my money out the window.

I had an amazing stay! The host welcomed me with an incredibly warm greeting and flawless service. I laughed a lot, met great people, and it was truly a wonderful place I highly recommend. Everything was perfect, nothing to complain about!

The spot was nice because it’s close to the beach and once had beautiful murals on the walls, but the recent flooding means you have to climb over a landslide to reach the beach. When I got there at 5:30 pm, the host told me that Safi had recently flooded (true) and that the place was mouldy, which he promised to fix next week. He said I could cancel for free and “go somewhere else” if I didn’t like it, and that it wasn’t his fault and he couldn’t accept a bad review. I understand the flooding, but I didn’t feel welcomed. As a woman cycling up the hill alone, arriving an hour before dark, I would have preferred to know about the issue beforehand. If a place isn’t ready to host, ask guests in advance if they still want to come or remove it from booking until the problem is solved instead of pressuring people not to leave reviews. The place was very dirty, cushions smelled like they had been used before, and people were smoking in the common room even at night.
