“Neglected hotel. Unless they lower the price not worth staying here”
The breakfast was great with eggs, bacon or sausage, pancakes, yogurt, cereal, bagels, bread, and even hot oatmeal. However, there were many issues: I had stayed here before and knew the parking behind the hotel was right by the elevator, usually open during the day, but it was closed. I walked around the front and checked in, told it should have been open, then went through the back door and found it didn’t work with the room key. I had to return to the front desk, where they said the door was having problems and that I needed to pull up on the handle. Every time I had to re-enter the building it felt like a fight. The hallways needed work; the wallpaper had to be replaced and the floor on the 5th floor needed vacuuming. The room window was smudged. The next morning there was no hot water; I called downstairs, they said they were having problems and let it run, but it took half an hour to get warm water. Later that day, I spoke to the front desk again when we saw there was no hot water again. They said something was fixed and that letting it run would solve it, but it wasn’t. Again it took about half an hour. That night, letting it run took a very long time but finally had hot water. I thought it was fixed, but the next morning I had to let it run for over half an hour so that we could shower. This was a nightmare; staying here feels very neglected, from the back door to the hot water.
The location is good, but there were problems with the pillows, the ice machine, and the TV, which were eventually fixed.
“The location was nice as well as the view”
The location is fine, but by 8:34 am there was barely any breakfast left, and a child drank syrup directly from the bottle.
“Good for a short night stay”
The location is prime, surrounded by shopping, food, and attractions, but the cleanliness wasn’t the best: the shower was dirty and the TV was broken, though still usable.
There wasn’t enough seating in the room and the convenience was limited.
