“A beautifully and comfortable space in a rustic, historic building”
The property was well situated and easy to locate. The bath was modern and well equipped. The bedroom offered plenty of room to relax, and the desk was a nice addition, as was the freshly cooked breakfast with real eggs and sausage. However, the kitchen access was blocked, forcing me to fill the kettle from the bathroom sink, which was inconvenient. A modern spinning wheel in the common area was meant only for decoration, even though I’m a spinning teacher and would have loved to use it; it felt odd that it was off-limits. That wheel could be a real amenity for someone like me who wishes to spin but cannot bring a wheel on a small plane to Westray.
