“Homely Hotel”

The place had a great spot and friendly staff, and the large room offered a sea view that felt like home rather than a big chain hotel; breakfast featured traditional Turkish dishes. The downside was that the room carried a cigarette smell—apparently smoking is allowed in Turkish hotels, and I didn’t realize I needed to book a non‑smoking room from the UK; a little updating would also help.

The staff were very friendly and helpful, especially Marie at the reception, who was great, kind, and competent. The room was spacious and clean, the location was excellent—just a 5‑minute walk to the Bosphorus—and the breakfast selection was good; the massages were very relaxing. The only drawback was the lack of information that the window could be opened fully upon request and signature.

“great location, wonderful breakfast and friendly staff. I would def. stay again.”

The staff were super friendly and always made warm water with lemon for me each morning; the gym was well equipped and the inner garden was lovely, offering a cool and tranquil spot if you want to work. The downside is that the bathroom only has shower gel and shampoo—having a conditioner would be nice.
