I appreciated the calm atmosphere and overall beauty of the place, but the balcony gave away all privacy, the bathroom taps leaked and had weak water pressure, and the price feels too high for what’s offered.

The staff were all very nice, and the remote location is a plus compared to the crowded spots like Ooty; you can relax on the balcony, enjoy the view and bird sounds, and the meals were well prepared and easy to order—breakfast was also good. The caretaker, Mohan, even packed lunch for us for a day hike. The only drawback is that food is made to order, so it can take time, but you can arrange a specific pickup time in advance.
