The panoramic view from the hotel windows shows the entire city, making it a great starting point for sightseeing in Kathmandu. It’s a relatively short distance to Kopan Monastery and other nearby spots, and it takes about 30 minutes to reach Thamel (the city’s heart) and the airport. I highly recommend this place as a base to relax after a long, busy day in Kathmandu. The pool temperature was too low; even though it was 40 degrees outside, the water stayed cold, and there’s no heating system. Coffee with almond milk isn’t available, so lactose‑intolerant guests have no option.

“Won’t recommend others to come.”

The restaurant’s food and service were good, and the room was a decent size. However, the hotel lacks a gym and spa, contrary to what’s advertised, and there’s no laundry service. I stayed for 3 days and the room wasn’t cleaned at all. At check‑in I was told I could pay by credit card, but at checkout the front desk said the policy had changed the day before and they only accept cash. I had to bring a friend to help me pay. I’ll be back to the city in a few days but won’t book this hotel again or recommend it to anyone.

“The stay was good because of the hospitality.”

The staff were truly helpful and humble. When we checked in, the room wasn’t clean, and the bathroom was dirty too. On top of that, an insect was found in the food.
