Located within the historic Benedictine Schotten Abbey in central Vienna, Benediktushaus offers tranquil, secluded rooms renovated in 2016. Each suite features a private bathroom, telephone, work desk, and Wi‑Fi, but no TV or radio, preserving a peaceful ambiance. St. Stephen’s Cathedral lies five minutes away, and major attractions are within easy walking distance.

Central location – you can reach almost everything on foot in 15‑20 minutes. The cleaning is spot‑on, and the staff are very kind, helpful, and welcoming. The only flaw is that the reception isn’t open 24/7; after 5 pm and until 10 pm you can still reach them by phone.

The breakfast was exceptionally fresh and varied. The staff everywhere were very friendly… Great location, quiet and central. There was nothing that we didn’t like.

The room was very quiet and faced an inner garden. The breakfast was very complete and the staff were very friendly. The place is very well located, close to the sites you want to visit, and we can only recommend it. The Wi‑Fi isn’t always excellent, but it was sufficient for what we needed to do! 3
