The location was beautiful, the room very tasteful, and the staff very friendly. However, there was no elevator, which is absolutely necessary for older guests with a lot of luggage on their way. The TV in the room was not connected, and a helpful staff member assisted us with a fire escape that was not easy. We were not told in advance that there would be no dinner service inside on 3 October because a party with music was happening for the national holiday, so we had to sit outside and the menu options were limited – we would have chosen a different menu the night before if we had known. The waitress was very helpful in arranging a soup for the main course. Breakfast was okay but fell short in variety for the hefty price of the stay.
