We were not in the main building, which was not disclosed at booking. Guests should know that. Nevertheless, the room was very nice and had a great terrace. The garden and pond were very idyllic, perfect for sitting and enjoying. It’s a shame there’s no way to make coffee or tea in the room, and a fridge would be nice to keep wine cool. Our room was not used for three nights during our stay, no beds were made and no towels were changed! We requested daily cleaning, but after two days it was automatically cleaned, as stated.

Very nice accommodation, a clean large room, friendly staff and good breakfast!

The beautiful, quiet setting more than makes up for the very limited breakfast. We stayed in the newly built annex, bright rooms that had everything we needed, though it would have helped if the fact that the rooms are in the annex was clearer when booking. At that time the outside temperature was 36 °C, so hot that the rooms, which are not air‑conditioned, would have benefited from interior blinds. The breakfast was a complete disaster for this location – the selection was minimal, restocking was almost nonexistent, and the tiny amounts of sausage, cheese, tomato‑mozzarella were all uncooled, a real no‑go. Then there was a very unclear note about the prices of the wine bottles in the room fridge. In the courtyard there is a huge price difference; in our room a sheet of prices was posted, but as we learned upon checkout those were the take‑away prices. We had to pay the on‑site price: a 0.7 L Grauburgunder was €7.50 for take‑away, €13 on‑site… I’d call that unprofessional, or maybe a quick way to make money.

The location is wonderfully peaceful.
