The location was handy, just beside the train station for visiting Venice, and Mr. who welcomed us in the evening was friendly; the restaurants and convenience stores nearby were convenient. It was too expensive – we paid 180 € per night for a room whose photos were far from reality, located on a half‑floor in a building on the second floor; we couldn’t use the elevator because it smelled very bad. The bathroom was clean at first, but after a few days of stay that wasn’t the case, as they didn’t come to tidy up; from the start there was dust on the floor and worse between the furniture and the bed. The sheets were clean but the duvet smelled like human odors, the mattress was not comfortable at all, the pillows were extremely flat. I had to sleep with my outer clothes and I fell ill. The AC on the door seemed to exist just to keep us company, and the worst part was the mosquitoes. The discomfort, odors, and mosquitoes were the negatives.
