The location is decent; the décor is tasteful but sometimes prioritises design over comfort. Booking in September meant no one else was in the house, giving us a lot of privacy in the common areas, though it would be different with more guests. The breakfast situation was odd: we had booked it in February but were told upon arrival that we would have to travel 20 km (Laxe) each day to a local owned by the hotel manager; it made no sense, so we agreed to exclude it from the final bill. That said, the lady left a cake in the house on the second day, a nice touch. The room we stayed in, though new and pretty, had almost no ventilation and a large window that acted like a magnifying glass, making it very hot without air conditioning—hard to imagine how it would fare in hot summer months. The twin bed was only 1.35 m, making it uncomfortable for two average‑sized people and even more so for larger ones; for someone looking for rest during the summer, this was far from ideal.
