Hipotels Apartamentos Cala Bona

I liked the property; it was comfortable and went beyond what I expected. Cala Bona lies on the east side of the island, where there’s nothing much, but we had a rental car and drove daily to the restaurants and beaches, which were at least 30 minutes away.

“Apartamento básico”

The apartment is fine, but it’s not meant for cooking because the kitchen and utensils are minimal, so we had to bring our own dish soap. It’s designed for eating out. The management was difficult; messages never came for payment or check‑in, so we never received the code to access the apartment. In that regard, they were not very resolute, and we ultimately had to go in person to the hotel that managed it to fix the problem. There’s no beach or pool nearby.

Only the hotel receptionist who’s next door did the check‑in for us. The cleaning was terrible, and they made the beds badly. Nasty.

“Prima prijs kwaliteit verhouding”

I loved how big the apartment was and how well it was laid out, but the bed was a problem – one of the two mattresses had a loose part that let pieces of the mattress fall to the floor.

The view of the sea was great, the food was good, and the sea breeze made the air feel fresh, but the staff took items that guests brought in, and the neighbors were so loud that I couldn't sleep; the room wasn’t cleaned properly, especially under the bed.
