We stopped at the Yew Tree at the start and finish of our Shropshire Way walk, and every time the staff were friendly, polite and helpful. The meals at the Inn were excellent on both visits, and the staff went out of their way to make us feel welcome.

The staff were friendly and the location is great for Long Mynd, plus the food is excellent. The bed, however, was very soft.

This medieval inn in rural Shropshire is very pleasant, offers good views, has friendly staff, and an excellent menu with a wide range of options. Nothing really stands out as negative, though it’s a bit isolated so you’d need to drive elsewhere to dine, which some might see as a bonus.
