The setting, the castle park, and the very large room were great, but the décor could use more warmth in the rooms.

We only stayed one night, yet we appreciated the castle’s beauty, the room’s size and comfort, and the staff’s friendliness. Breakfast was just fine. We’ll return if we visit the area again.

The outdoor setting was very beautiful and the welcome during our stay was very pleasant. The kitchen and dining corners are scattered everywhere—great idea, but it’s a shame it’s not highlighted on Booking; I found it when I went to my room. Nothing major to complain about, though it’s a bit unfortunate there are no reminders in the rooms about the side of the castle, even though we knew about it before booking. A few spider webs, but nothing serious.
