Quality Inn Cambridge

One of our rooms had a damp smell, while the other was fine.

“Stay here if you want a staff of great service oriented people!”

The staff were qualified, accommodating, and very friendly, and there was nothing negative to mention.

“Promote that hard-working evening desk clerk to assistant and give him a good salary to keep him!”

The evening desk clerk was helpful, polite, and accommodating. As some other reviews note, there are needed updates, but for the price it was clean enough. As a former hotel GM, I saw that some long‑term guests stay for work, which can feel a bit odd for travelers thinking people “live” there. I expected it when I saw work trucks in the parking lot and wasn’t bothered; the crew just need an affordable place while away from home. We’d stay again if we were in the area. Simple, clean, convenient, friendly staff, breakfast, pool, coffee, and a decent bed—everything I needed! Plenty could be better, but nothing was “bad.”

“The property should be updated to reflect the outstanding staff working it.”

The front desk staff at check‑in and check‑out were outstanding—helpful, considerate, and nice, not just to us but to all guests. The property is very old and dated, with renovation marks, holes in the walls, ripped wallpaper, and old…

I tried reaching out for help, but no one answered.
