Facing the sea and very chill and quiet place. Staff is exceptionally friendly. She helped us looked for transport to mount unzen and when we were asking on laundry services she offered to help us wash our clothes. Tip top service. Just little too far and deep in but if that’s what you are looking for then it’s fine!

The room was spacious and clean, which was great. It wasn’t a huge problem, but the dinner menu had so many tasty options that we, being older, couldn’t finish everything and felt a bit guilty.

The ryokan has a very distinctive atmosphere and the owner is kind and welcoming. The room was large and spacious, and we also loved the mini onsen in the cave.

We had a great dinner with plenty of delicious food, and the stone hot bath was a nice touch. Even though we struggled with communication, the staff were friendly and always ready to help, making the stay enjoyable. However, the room shower was difficult to control the temperature between hot and cold.

This coastal hotel offers both public and private onsen baths, and the seafood set dinners in private dining rooms are exquisite and tasty. The breakfast set was also top quality, and from our room we could relax while watching fishermen and boats. It provides excellent value and comfort for travelers looking for a remote spot on the Ariake Sea coast, with very friendly and helpful staff and hosts.
