“Csodálatos, nyugodt hely”
The place was very pretty and peaceful, just a 10‑minute walk from the jungle entrance. We even extended our stay by one night. There’s no shop nearby, and the accommodation is only reachable by tuk‑tuk, but the hosts cook delicious breakfasts and dinners. We stayed in a small wooden house on the upper floor, with a little balcony. The cleanliness was nice. There was no air conditioning, but it wasn’t as hot as in other cities. I told them that we wanted to arrange the jungle tour ourselves, yet the entrance is only 10 minutes away, the entrance fee is cheap, and there are free guides at the gate. I didn’t want to pay for an optional program, but the guides were a bit pushy. I even got a guide’s phone number, who still pushed the package deal. It’s understandable because they live off it, but if I firmly say “no thank you” multiple times, they’ll still insist. Otherwise, they were kind, the little boy was very cute, and the lady cooked tasty food.
