The location is decent, but there’s no 24‑hour hot water, the bathroom is mediocre, the room was handed over at 7 pm because of overbooking, the restaurant hours change without notice and the buffet is only offered if a minimum number of rooms are occupied; there’s no 24‑hour reception, no staff to greet guests or any bellhops, and the path from the parking lot is a steep cobblestone walk. The main attraction they advertise, the bioparque Guatika, is a sham with neglected animals, habitats, and stagnant water where animals literally swim in their own waste. To top it off, the owner drove his vehicle into pedestrians—his own guests—at the only pedestrian entrance, kept my documents for unknown reasons, and never gave me a physical or electronic invoice even though he claimed he had sent one. I don’t understand the high ratings; I would never return and recommend the Estelar Paipa instead.

The staff and public service were good, and they assigned a guide for the zoo visit. However, there should have been someone at the entrance to receive and guide guests, and there was no soap in the rooms.

The location is good. There is no 24‑hour hot water, the bathroom is half‑finished, and the room was handed over at 7 pm because of overbooking. The restaurant hours change without prior notice and at their discretion, and if a minimum number of rooms isn’t met they don’t offer the buffet. There is no 24‑hour reception or staff, no one to greet guests at arrival, and definitely no bellhops. The stairs from the parking are cobbled, and the big attraction they promote, the Guaitaca Biopark, is a sham: the animals and their habitats are totally neglected and the water fountains are stagnant—animals literally swim and bathe in their own waste. To top it all, the owner drives his vehicle at the only pedestrian access to the hotel, attacking the very guests who walk there.
