The hotel sits right in the small town of Vicosprano, just a few meters from the bus stop “Plazza.” The owners greeted us warmly, cooked, and prepared breakfast, creating a very family‑like atmosphere. The hotel is a typical, renovated old house without an elevator. Our room on the 3rd floor had a half‑round gable window. It’s quite small but has everything you need: comfortable beds, just a flat, foam pillow. No TV or kettle, which we didn’t miss. The dinner on the terrace was a bit cool. The dinner was regionally oriented, tasty, and it was a “Wild Week.” Prices were moderate compared to Switzerland, naturally expensive compared to Germany. The hotel price includes a ticket for the entire Bregaglia Valley, from Majola to Chiavenna, which is very convenient. The car parked free at the entrance, just under 5 minutes walk. Nothing important to note in the upper section.
