Sleeping in a tent with a view of the dunes and the sea, the food was excellent, and the staff were adorable and professional.

The setting in the dunes offered a wonderful view of the coast, and I saw many whales in July; the staff gave great tips for short hikes, whether guided or self‑paced. The service was very pleasant and accommodating, and the food was superb—homemade, lovingly plated, and local.

I was thoroughly impressed by the secluded and private location of this hotel, which was a perfect blend of seclusion and accessibility. The attention to detail in the construction and communal areas was impressive, and the food was truly exceptional. However, I felt that the prices were a bit steep, especially considering the options available at other hotels along the coast.

I had a wonderful experience at this eco-lodge, which was built on a fantastic concept and executed beautifully. My stay was unfortunately too short, but I thoroughly enjoyed my time amidst the stunning dunes of Dovela. The overall experience was truly magical, and I appreciated the effort put into creating such a unique getaway.
