“Modern feel hotel with onsen”
The hotel feels modern, and the onsen features an outdoor bath with stunning ocean views; the reception staff were friendly. The shop offers a wide range of regional goods, interesting architecture books, and an English translation of the Tale of the Genji. The beds were comfortable and the view of Mt Iwaki from the window was lovely. It sits right next to the ropeway at Aomori Spring ski resort. The dinner hall felt like a large, impersonal space and the food was bland, so while the location is ideal for winter skiing, the dining experience detracts from it.
