Domaine du Rouge-Gorge

A spacious family game room, well-equipped and perfectly located 10 minutes from the zoo of Cerza and 30 minutes to stroll in Honfleur Trouville. Unfortunately, the main toilet wasn’t working, cleaning was poor – dog hair everywhere, dishes not washed, and there were a lot of spiders; my son ended up with numerous bites all over his body.

A quiet, charming place with a useful family game room. On arrival, we had issues: one toilet was broken, no internet made GPS a hassle, and the owner did what he could but it was difficult to coordinate from afar.

“Déçu du logement, point positif le jardin et proche du zoo”

The outside was fine and quiet, but the interior felt old and dirty; the sheets on the bed were filthy with hair, so I spent an hour scrubbing them because fresh linens weren’t provided, and I had to clean all three bathrooms and the toilet where the flush hadn’t been pulled and urine residue remained. The game room’s pinball machine didn’t work, though the ping‑pong table and Wi‑Fi were decent, yet the Wi‑Fi kept dropping and the TV was dead, only one outdoor lamp functioned, the whole place smelled strongly of mold, I even found a dirty broom in a kitchen cupboard and the kitchen trash bin was very grimy.

“Séjour mitigé”

The spot is close to the zoo and you can arrive early, but the Wi‑Fi is erratic and there’s no reliable network, cleanliness is only marginal, the flipper machine is broken, the house isn’t suitable for kids under 2 because of exposed sockets, loose wiring and peeling wall paint, and the garden is overgrown with thorns.

“Info”

The house is perfect for a large family or two families; it can accommodate 8 people. However, the cleanliness was lacking, with dust and a moldy freezer, and it was very cold when we arrived.
