My children and I did not feel comfortable in the room. The mattresses were very thin, there were no sheets on the beds, and there was a lot of bedding on the mattresses, which made us think of a storage room. We therefore chose to leave and go elsewhere. The owner was friendly and understanding, but I expected a warmer welcome and more interaction.

The owner was friendly and had a good grasp of what a toddler needs, making the stay very comfortable. The only caveat is that guests must be careful when climbing the outside stairs to the rooms, especially if you’re carrying a suitcase or a child, or if it’s raining; also, the parking lot attracts mosquitoes, so insect spray is essential.

Walking from the Ishikawa IC bus stop takes just over 10 minutes, and the room offers two solid beds that hold up well. Opening the window a bit lets in a pleasant breeze, and the spacious kitchen comes with plenty of cookware and seasonings. However, the separate male and female toilets and showers are separated by a single partition, with a tile gap of about 20 cm, which left me feeling the place lacked a bit of cleanliness.
