I ended up in a smoking room, and my clothes smelled like ash and curry powder; I had to deep‑clean my mask—disgusting.

The location was close to the interstate and food, all on one level so no stairs or elevators; the room was small, musty when I first checked in, the staff yelled when I mentioned I didn’t know where smoking was allowed, there were no safety locks on the inside of the door, and the lighting was poor.

A straightforward, no‑frills motel that’s old school but gets the job done, and it’s right near everything you’d need. There’s no breakfast, but that’s fine if you’re used to staying at places where it’s included. The shower had a noticeable smell, and overall the room wasn’t as clean as I’d expect, but I’m a picky one and I still understand what I was signing up for. I’d come back.
